TCAN1042V-Q1: TCAN1042V-Q1 internal pull-up drive capacity

Part Number: TCAN1042V-Q1

Hi,

I have a question regarding datasheet contents 9.3.7.2  5 V VCC with VIO I/O Level Shifting (Devices with the "V" Suffix).

Could you let me know the drive capacity of internal pull-up about TXD and STB terminal?

It is my intention to want to know whether it can maintain a high level without external pull up.

Regards,

Yusuke Hashimoto

  • Hello Hashimoto-san,

The pull-up strength for this device is defined in the Electrical Characteristics table, it is just defined in terms of input current to the pin for a given input voltage condition rather than as a resistance.  You can reference the input high-level and low-level leakage current specifications for these pins to better understand the pull-up strength and evaluate whether or not external resistances may be needed. Please just let us know if you have any further questions.

    Regards,
