SN65DSI86: LEFT/RIGHT mode and Suspend state

Part Number: SN65DSI86

Hi team,

Our customer is interested in SN65DSI86 device, therefore, we promoted this one. During this meeting, we got two inquiries.

Could you help us, please?

  1. Regarding SN65DSI86 LEFT/RIGHT mode, we’d like to clarify it in more detail. According to DSI Register(0x10, 7bit), one view is constructed by LEFT Image(Channel-A)/RIGHT Image(Channel-B) when LEFT_RIGHT_PIXELS=1. Is that correct?
  2. In this case, are we able to control suspend/Low-power-mode for Left-Image or for Right-Image, separately?

In my guesses, since SUSPEND signal is one signal, we cannot control SUSPEND state for each channel. Is that correct?

Best regards,

Miyazaki
