One would expect to be able to power down equipment containing the DP83867IS whilst other, connected equipment is still powered and driving. Is this so? Are the MDI inputs high-Z or otherwise well-behaved with power supplies at 0V? Will the DP83867IS at least not sustain damage during this condition? Or are switches with Ioff protection required on the MDI-side of this part?
