TLK6201EA: Operation with 400 Mbps 8b/10b Encoded Signal

I'm looking to use the TLK6201EA for a 400 Mbps 8b/10b encoded signal, but the part is described for "1Gbps to 6.25Gbps". Will this work?

What other part recommendations do you suggest?

    Hi Mark,

    This part will work, but the 400 Mbps datarate is not going to receive a lot of gain from the CTLE optimized for 6.25 Gbps data.  The DS25BR100 is another device to consider.  There are several variations on this device to give more control over input or output equalization.
