SN65MLVD206: application scenario

Hi Supporter

My customer has below scenario and want to adopt SN65MLVD206. Please help check if it is ok.

They need to transfer 1pps signal between two boards. One piece SN65MLVD206 on each board. Two boards are connected by 10m Ethernet cable through RJ45. Could SN65MLVD206 support this 10m Ethernet cable transfer? Thanks!

One more question. By Ethernet cable, do you mean Cat5? Is it shielded?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, at such a low rate, 10m should be no problem Cat5 cable (shielded or unshielded).
