TUSB320: No response from TUSB320 to I2C master

Hello,

We are using TUSB320 as an UFP device and have a basic circuit to test the I2C interface.

The MCU is a PIC16 device from Microchip and we have used the same MCU with multiple TI devices (chargers, fuel gauge, ...). So we believe our I2C commands are fully functional.

However, we don't seem to be getting a response from TUSB320.

Attached is a copy of the schematic. The data interface (INT, ID, SCL, and SDA) is connected to the MCU, which we can run a debugger thru.

All the voltages are measured and correct.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you writing to and reading from the correct address and changing the Read and Write bit to the correct action?

Yes.
The 7-bit address is 0x60. Combined with W/R, the 8-bit address becomes 0xC0 for W and 0xC1 for R.
I am sending one byte for sub-address each time, say 0x00, 0x01, 0x02,..., and one byte from TUSB320.
I am getting 0x00 for all responses.
