Hi Team,
Due to customer required BC1.2 function and 5V/3A , but 2546 Iout max is 2.5A.
Do we know TI 2546 can over spec drive 5V/3A current.?

Hello,
I would recommend using the TPS25810. This is a USB Type-C DFP controller with source capabilities of 5V at 3A. To accommodate for BC1.2 detection, you will need to use a separate part alongside the TPS25810.
If you do not need to worry about transferring data when connected to the legacy device via BC1.2, I would recommend using the TPS2511 or TPS2514 as the device connected alongside the TPS25810. Here is a link to a reference design that would fit your needs.
If you do want to transfer data from the legacy device, then I would suggest using the TPS2547 as the device connected alongside the TPS25810. You will connect the TPS2547 similarly to the TPS2514 in the design above
