The DS90UB947 Serializer accepts OLDI (LVDS) on its inputs. To convert the 24 bit RGB888 (Coming from a graphics processor) to LVDS, you can use this part:

Once the 24bit data is converted into LVDS, the 947-940 should be compatible with one another. The EVM user guides for the DS90UB947-Q1 and DS90UB940-Q1 are shown below, respectively:

UB947 can accept i.MX6's RGB888 video. my question is that why you set UB940 output RGB444? UB940 can support the RGB888 input and RGB444 output.
