DS90UH947-Q1: DS90UH947-Q1configuration is not up to DS90UB928

Part Number: DS90UH947-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UH928Q-Q1, ALP

Our transmitter is DS90UH947-Q1, our receiver: DS90UH928Q-Q1.

At present, there is no OLDI input for DS90UH947-Q1. We hope to configure DS90UH947-Q1 or DS90UH928Q-Q1 to enter BIST mode.

The handshake between DS90UH928Q-Q1 and DS90UH947-Q1 should be OK, and we can measure the LVDS data of FPDLINK-III.

Because there are too many registers, I don't know if Texas has the following information to help.

1.What does DS90UH947-Q1 need to pay attention to when it matches DS90UH928Q-Q1?

2. registers are many, are there some application instructions?

3., are there any tools that we can use? We are more convenient to verify software and hardware.

  • Hello,
The BIST mode can be enabled from the deserializer side by the BISTEN pin. Please refer to the 928 datasheet for additional information on BIST.
You can use the ALP software to set up the FPD-Link serializer and deserializer parts. For ALP and the device profiles, you can go here: http://www.ti.com/tool/alp
The DS90UH947 serializer is backwards compatible with the DS90UH928 deserializer - please refer to the 947 datasheet for backwards compatible information.
