DS90UB954-Q1: FPD3_PCLK in RAW mode

Hi Team,

I understood the following according to Table 4.
- RAW 10-bit mode: FPD3_PCLK = PCLK_Freq. /2
- RAW 12-bit HF mode: FPD3_PCLK = PCLK_Freq. x 2/3

On the other hand, the following shows "FPD3_PCLK=100MHz"(red line) although input PCLK range is up to 100MHz.

I believe "FPD3_PCLK=100MHz"(red line) is typo and "PCLK_Freq=100MHz" is the correct.
Is my understanding correct?

Hello,
The line rate is a function of the FPD3_PCLK, but I guess what you are asking is if FPD3_PCLK can actually be 100 MHz based on the PCLK range?

Hi Palaniappan-san,

Let me ask in different words.

In RAW 12-bit HF mode, the datasheet shows "FPD3_PCLK = PCLK_Freq. x 2/3".
On the other hand, the following red part refers "Line Late =FPD3_PCLK x (2/3) x28" but I believe "Line Late =PCLK_Freq. x (2/3) x28" is the correct.
It seems PCLK_Freq. is switched to FPD3_PCLK by mistake.

Hello,
I see the reason for confusion. Yes the line rate calculation is referring to the PCLK frequency. We will make a note to get this clarified in the datasheet.
