ISO1541: iso1541

Part Number: ISO1541

We are using the ISO1541QDRQ1 in a new design. The datasheet text states that 100n bypassing is all that is needed on the supply pins, yet the application notes specifically call for a 10u capacitor within 2mm of the supply pins. Is this a typo and meant to say 100n within 2mm of the supply pins, or do we really need 10u caps?

  • Hi John,

100nF of capacitance should be sufficient for decoupling capacitors at both VCC1 and VCC2 within 2mm distance, the 10µF should be a typo. You can use 100nF and you shouldn't have any issues with that.
