Hello everyone:

I need drive the chip 913 and DB90ub964 through I2C by giving SCL and SDA generated by FPGA.While according to the paper" DS90UB964-Q1 Quad FPD-Link III Deserializer Hub"，the registers concluding Serial Control Bus Registers and Digital Page 0 Indirect Registers have same address,so I don't known how to configure the registers .And once I give the I2C signal to Deserizer, is there video streams out from the CSI-2 port?

Which side is the I2C master and what I2C mode are you trying to use? You can refer to the 964 datasheet section 8.5 for I2C details.
You can use the ALP tool (http://www.ti.com/tool/ALP) with the device profile for the default register settings and to configure any registers.

Hi,

you can refer to UB964's d/s on register setting example, or the refer code in page 22 of UB964 EVM board released in website.

regarding your issue, it has no direct relation between the CSI output and I2C signal.

You mean I cann't just configure the registers of 964Hub and I2C control to drive the the Ser and camera? If so,do I need to address them and drive every device individually?

I want to cofigure by FPGA .But the some value of the register can be referenced.

I want to generate I2C signal by FPGA used as the host controler sending signals to DS964 Hub,on the other end of coax is a camera conbined with 913Ser.I don't know whether configuring the Hub registers or send I2C signal to the Hub can drive the camera?Thank you!

You can configure the i2c, but if you don't configure the i2c, the csi2 still works in default mode and can have output.
yes, you can read and write camera's sensor registers via ub954 and ub953. please configure the ub954's i2c pass through, which is indicated in the example code of UB954 d/s or the refer. code in ub964's EVM user guide. thanks.
