we are using DS90UB954-Q1 in our design. we need a clarification regarding its application.Can we use internal 1.1V supply with STP connector interface?

    Hi Shobana,

    Yes, you can use an internal 1.1 V supply with STP connector interface. Please refer to the DS90UB954-Q1 Datasheet sections on Power Supply and Sequencing (Section 9). For using a 1.1V internal supply, you would need to set VDD_SEL to low. The 1.1V is generated internally from the 1.8V supply, so It is best if the highest voltage supply (VDDIO) comes up first. There will be some voltage bleed through if VDD18 comes up first, but as long as PDB comes high and stable after VDDIO goes high, the 954 should still operate correctly.
