TUSB4041I: Overcurrent detection without host

Part Number: TUSB4041I

Hello

I am using the TUSB4041I in my design in an individual power control configuration with power polarity reversed.

In the presence of a host, when I create an overcurrent scenario, the overcurrent pin goes low and pwrctl for the corresponding pin goes high to disable the active low power switch i have used.

However, without a host, when I create an overcurrent scenario, the overcurrent pin goes low but the pwrctl for the corresponding pin stays low and does not disable the active low power switch.

Is this how it is supposed to operate? Can you not disable the power switch under overcurrent scenario without a host?

Thanks
