DS90UB954-Q1: 954 can not get FPD-Link lock status when connecting with 913

Hi Sir,

We use STP cable to connect 954 with 913.

We use RAW mode and 954 receives RAW12 data from 913 serializer (high frequency mode).

Our question is we can not obtain FPD-Link lock status and can't get remote i2c (913) status from 954.

The attached files are the register dump for RX0/RX1.

Could you please help us to check the setting and give us some advice how to solve this issue.

    Is LOCK always low? What about the PASS status?
    Please refer to 954 datasheet section 7.4.7 for information on LOCK and PASS.

    In RAW12 HF mode, the LOCK pin is only high if there is a link with a serializer that has an active PCLK input.
    LOCK is low if there is a serializer connected and there is a link established using the internal oscillator of the
    serializer. Therefore, when using this mode, it is preferred to use the port specific LOCK_STS register (0x4D[0]),
    which is high when linked to a serializer with internal oscillator. This LOCK_STS signal can also be output to a
    GPIO pin for monitoring in real time. Once LOCK_STS is high for a specific port, remote I2C is available to that
    serializer

    also, please check the PoC circuit design in the UB954 board, please use the same PoC network design with UB913a's which needs "FB + 4.7uH + 100uH" and good impedance@1MHz/100MHz is required for this system application. details on poc design, you can refer to: Training on FPD-Link Serializer Deserializer devices and system: training.ti.com/fpd-link-learning-center
