How to configure TUSB212 operated in pin strap mode?

tie SCL/CD pin to high or left floating is ok or other correct way.

To operate TUSB212 in "pin strap" mode leave SDA/SCL floating or pulled low.

If so, why dataheet in the section of 7.4.3 mentioned that enable signal compensation with CD pin assert high?

Jason,

I2C mode is determined shortly after reset and this is when the SCL/SDA pins must be floating or low for non-I2C mode (< 2 V, See section 6.5 SDA, SCL section). After this configuration period, if the device is in non-I2C mode, the CD pin will assert to indicate a USB connection.

Dose this messages only mean I2C/no I2C mode could be detected by cd pin is VIH voltage or not after reset? When is in "no I2C mode", HS speed will auto enable signal compensation?

I2C configuration only occurs when both SDA and SCL are pulled high and is enabled only during a configuration time directly after reset. High Speed signal compensation will always be on by default in both I2C and Non I2C mode. Signal compensation settings can be controlled through the EQ pin (See Table 3 in TUSB212 datasheet).
