Hi there,

I'm trying to use TI drivers and tools in an embedded system (Intel based, x64 platform). I used them previously on Ubuntu LTS 12/14.04 w/o success, that's why

I'm trying again with Windows.

Let me give you environment conditions:

W7 Embedded edition, x64
TUSB tool v2.0
System is not able to finish succesfully the installation, but I'm able to play with it before user creation, it means, in safe mode.
Problem: I'm not able to properly install drivers on the system, and consequently, not able to flash the TUSB9261 device.

Some pictures about my current situation:

1. Drivers: I got this picture from device manager.

2. Application. This is what I have. When I try to flash the device, the following error logs appears

"The flash driver is not installed on the current Boot Loader device ... "

and when I try to install them from the app:

"Unable to get the path to the FlashBurner driver. Please rescan your list ... "

3. Double checking driver status, I got this message:

I already removed regedit stuff regarding Lower and Upper registers (Windows-side), but I'm still blocked.

Any suggestion would be really aprpeciated.

could you try to use standard W7 & instead of W7 Embedded edition, x64?

Dear Malik,

Thanks for your response. I tried several times with W/ x64 Professional, and now the system even does not detect the device itself (@devmgmt.exe).

Let me ask you one question: is the driver only compatible with W7 (not embedded) versions?

What does the device manager look like when when you try W/ x64 Professional? Does an unknown device appear in the list?

Dear Malik,

You can see what do I have at the device manager at the first post of this thread. Basically, two devices with the same name.

One of them seems properly installed, and the other one not.

Hello Jesus-Maria,

when you try to install the driver, do you have any "warning window"? I just want to make sure if this problem is related to the driver's signature.

Can you try starting the system on "Disable driver signature enforcement" mode?

Dear Roberto,

I tried to install the driver on this mode but, given the particular configuration of the HW, it is not possible to boot-up. But, what I did finally is try to install the system using "Debugging mode" option in Windows Error Recovery Menu, and by doing this I was able to finalize the installation, install the driver, anf flash it properly. Meaning that it works perfectly on Windows Embedded.

For me this topic can be closed, since I fouind a way to install and flash the driver. But, in my opinion, I can be worng of course, in Safe mode (designed initially for this particular purpose) shall work, but it doesn't.
