DP83848K: Question about Eye pattern waveform

I attached Eye pattern waveform for Tx side of DP83848K.

Please let me know about strange waveform for upper right side. (red area)

Is this waveform no problem for DR83848K operation?

I think that the reason is effect the any configuration action, is it correct?

Is this waveform generated for compliance testing or is this during normal operation with link partner?

Hello Satoshi-san,

In case of normal communication with link partner, mask testing is not valid. Usually mask testing is done during compliance testing. This waveform in question might be result of data being send by the DP83848K or link partner. If you are seeing error free data transfer then this should not be a problem.
