TUSB7340: USB3.0 Host Controller recognised as Device to PC?

Part Number: TUSB7340

Dear E2E community,

currently I'm involved in an I4.0 project, in which a FPGA Board needs to communicate with a PC via USB3.0 interface.

Some of the evaluation boards of my research obtain the TUSB7340 controller, which is described as a host controller. But for the project, the FPGA Board shall act as a device for a PC.

So the question, which come up is: Is it possible to use the USB3.0 Host controller, also as USB Device controller? Or can the host controlling architecture been modified in such a way, that my board is recognized as USB device to a PC? If yes, is it also possible to have 2 Ports USB Host and 2 Ports USB Device?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,
H.Webert
