TUSB9261: Does TUSB9261 have Linux driver?

Does TUSB9261 have Linux driver? BTW , It have any interface or AP to get S.M.A.R.T information from SATA HDD?

For example, how do we get HDD temperature form S.M.A.R.T?

Hi Jason,
TUSB9261 does not require any special drivers for Linux. You can send ATA PASS-THROUGH command to read that kind of information. I'm not sure if Linux provide any easy interface for that SMART command. You may need to build the command manually and send it with "sg_raw". www.systutorials.com/.../

We have tested it since kernel 2.6 but I believe that kennels 3.0 and above are more stables.
