WEBENCH® Tools/LMH1218: LMH1218 noise with Eye capture

I have high BER noise each time when select eye capture from LMH1218. Is this normal?

LMH1219 eye capture does not make any noise.

Hi Alexander,

1). Are you using SigconArchitect to capture LMH1218 eye diagram?
2). Please make sure reg 0x3E[7] of channel register page is not on - it is set to zero - when capturing eye diagram.

Yes, I am Using Sigcon to capture eye diagram. I have LMH1219 OUT1 connected to LMH1218 IN0 with about 1' trace. BNC input/output connected to Tek WFM7120 3G-SDI analyzer.

Each time I make eye capture, WFM7120 records burst of errors and picture becomes unstable. Settings of register 03E makes no difference.

Hi Alexander,
Please try the latest version of the SigconArchitect. I think earlier version of the SigconArchitect was resetting lmh1218 device during eye capture.

My version is 2.0.0.8 Built05/12/2016. Is this latest?

Please use the latest profile version 1.0.3.0 (this is the revision that i am using and do not see this issue). Here is a link to these profiles:
