DS25BR400: what's the maximum data rate for each channel of DS25BR400?

Hi dears,

The DS25BR400 is a quad 250 Mbps – 2.5 Gbps CML transceiver, I would just like to know if that means the maximum data rate is 2.5Gbps per channel and the total data rate could get up to 10Gbps. The customer want to use four IA and four IB as input port (8 CML Transmit port connect with FPGA), Is this feasible? If it could work normal,  what's the maximum data rate for each channel?
