Hi,
I have two questions:
1) Documentation states "Supports 2.25 Gbps Signaling Rate for 480i/p, 720i/p, and 1080i/p Resolutions up to 12-Bit Color Depth" - so chip can't handle RGB, which is 24 bits-per-pixel?
2) What if display's EDID (sink) contains 1080p60 24-bpp (RGB) which is ~3 Gbps. Will TMDS442 remove it from EDID to leave only supported resolutions?
If not, what will be the result, when source computer would select this too-big resolution? Black screen? Is there any way to prevent this situation.
