TMDS442: ESD Protection

Hi,

Could you help me, whether build-in ESD Protection of TMDS442 is enough or do you recommend adding some additional ESD Protection chip?

If additional chip is required, then could you explain why, and suggest which chip do you recommend?

I would recommend that you use an additional ESD protection chip along with the TMDS442. the TMDS442 ESD protection only supports up to 6KV and most customers want their product to have 8KV of ESD protection.
