Hi Moshe,

LMH1228 and LMH1297 do not have cable fault detection. By this, I mean these devices cannot detect - when configured in cable driver mode - whether a coax cable is attached or not. These devices can detect signal on 50-ohm side and automatically power down cable driver if there is no signal on 50-ohm or host side.
