Hi team,

Customer would like to design the PD controller and they would like to know how far they can place the flash? 1 inch or 3 inch?

    Hi Scott,

    This is largely dependent on the trace length and thickness. We recommend to put the SPI Flash close to the PD controller. However, if the PCB layout is able to maintain the signal integrity, it is okay to go longer distances. I would suggest 1 inch distance.
