One of my customer is having issues with the TLK105L in the field and wants to have some clarification on what is going on.
Can you assist in how we can proceed to find the root cause of this issue?
Problem description:
The part works correctly at the start up of the board and keeps functioning correctly as long as the board is powered
When the board is rebooted a number of parts fail to function correctly. This is about 10% of the number of boards.
In all cases the control and clock signals are present as expected.
The issue can be reproduced by locally warming up this IC.
When the IC with this issue is replaced, the issue is gone.
Conclusion:
Our conclusion is that there are a number of defective or derated IC’s in this batch.
