TUSB211: some confuse of TUSB211 CD pin

Dear Sir:

                I have some confuse of TUSB211 CD pin . When USB device into sleep mode , then CD pin can still flag indicating that USB device is attached?

    Hi Jason,

    When the USB device is attached into sleep mode, the pull-up terminations are active according to the USB spec, hence the CD pin will detect an attachment. Basically, the detection must be active through the pull-up resistors, so, if the device disables these USB terminations, the TUSB211 will detect a disconnection.
