TPS65983B: Event to know PDO change on Vbus

Hi Onawa-san,

The TPS65983B is only to be used for TBT3 devices following an intel reference design. May I know which reference design they are following?

Also, the TPS65983B integrates the VBUS discharge so there is no need for the customer to implement this externally.

Ok, I understood that TPS65983B is only for PC app supporting TBT3 fundamentally.
As we discuss that before in the following thread, the discharging function only work switch path change timing like PP_EXT to PP_HV right?
Is this same behavior as TPS65983B and TPS65987D?

Thanks, I understood that DCDC supply is responsible for discharging in variable DCDC architecture.

Let me confirm the following your comment just in case.
>The VBUS discharge circuit will also work when the cable is unplugged and VBUS must return to 0V
Both TPS65982 and TPS65983B also behave as you said above? Or Is that only TPS65983B?
