TMDS181: Use high speed channel only

Hi Sir 

in our application ,we will not use DDC channel of TMDS181

in this condition ,have anything I need to take care for the schematic ?

    Kai,

    If you are not passing DDC through our device please connect SDA_SRC and SCL_SRC to ground and you can leave SDA_SNK and SCL_SNK floating. Be sure to configure TMDS181 appropriately through I2C (SDA_CTL and SCL_CTL) in this application. Also you will need to manually set the clock ratio change from HDMI 1.4B to / from HDMI 2.0 with out DDC snoop.

    May I know TMDS181 default work for HDMI1.4b or HDMI2.0
    If don't connect I2C of TMDS181 with MCU

    TMDS181 will not switch between HDMI 1.4b and HDMi 2.0 automatically without DDC snoop and I2C. When switching between HDMI 1.4b and HDMi 2.0 in pin strap mode (No I2C) DDC snoop is needed because the termination change between HDMI 1.4b and HDMi 2.0. See "8.3.9 Transmitter Impedance Control" in the TMDS181 datasheet for more detail.
