DP83867E: No Device ID

Hi team,

I have the DP83867E in a JTAG chain with a processor but it appears to have no device ID. Can you offer some guidance as to why that might be?

Hi GB,

I don't have much information on the device ID. Can you use a second JTAG debugger to confirm it is not software related? I will start looking on my end for what information we have.

Hi All,

For clarification. The DEVICEID field is optional for JTAG. The DP83867 does not support the DEVICEID field. Another method must be used for device verification.

The DP83867 supports boundary scan for JTAG.
