DS125DF410: Polarity configuraiton

The output driver supports polarity inversion for ease of routing. Does that mean I can swap the receive side also? Or will swapping polarity on the input side cause problems with PRBS or retimer functionality?

Hi Steve,

Yes, the polarity going into the inputs can be swapped as well. The device works differentially, so there is no specific requirement for polarities from the perspective of the retimer as long as you keep track of how you route the polarities through your system.
