Could you let me know how does DS90UB964 support hot-plug?

For the lock_sts register explanation, does it mean it will set high if four cameras are connected to 964?

what is the meaning of "it will set high if 4cameras are connected to 964"? the lock_sts reg. in d/s is described as below:
FPD-Link III receiver is locked to incoming data
1: Receiver is locked to incoming data
0: Receiver is not locked

btw, please ask this issue with helpme system.

if only one camera is connected to ds90ub964, will the lock be high? Or we have to get 4 camera are connected at the same time, then lock will be high.

Dongbao,

the reg. lock status is for each camera input separately, you can set the reg. 0x4c to select one channel. I would recommend you to refer to page22/23 of UB964 EVM board user guide which includes one script for reference.
