DS91M040: Input signal in the indertermination area

Part Number: DS91M040

Dear all,

my AA has done a signal integrity analysis and in a worst case the input signal to the DS91M040 (type 1 case) after the transition from low to high can go down to 10mV due to a reflection. It is jsut a spike and then it goes in the high region again.

Which is the behviour of the output due to the small permanence of the input signal in the grey area ?

From the DS seems that there isn't any Smith trigger.

regards,

Domenico
