DP83867IR: What pins are used to convert HDMI to optical signal using external optical SFP?

I am trying to see if DP83867 HDMI signals can be converted to Fiber optics using external Optical SFP. If you guys have any reference design related to DP83867 to external SFP, please send it to me. Also please suggest me Fiber optic SFP module that can be compatible with DP83867. Thanks.

Hi Maulik,

DP83867 does not support HDMI, did you mean to ask about SGMII?

Sorry about that. Yes I mean to ask about SGMII. So basically I wanted to know which I/O from DP83867 should be used to connect any external fiber optics SFP?

Hi Mauilk,

Yes SGMII can be interface directly with certain SFP modules. You will have to use SGMII SOP-SON for transmit and SGMII SIP-SIN for receive.
