My customer is design NB based on Intel ICL platform. They would like to check if they use USB3.1 GEN1 connector+ TUSB1022A within 8”~8.5” trace length. Can it still have chance to fine turn USB signal and pass Gen2 test?
They consider to use GEN 1 connector because Gen2 connector is longer than Gen1 over 2.0mm. But they don’t have the space to cover it.
