Dear Sirs,

I had bought a LMH1297 EV board. There is two mode of this EV board EQ and CD mode. If the EV board only can work at EQ and CD mode at one time or it can exist CD and EQ mode together at one time.

Please refer to my setup diagram for detail.

    Hi Robin,

    LMH1297 device works either as a cable equalizer OR cable driver. As you noted, it is one at a time. There is a jumper J10 on LMH1297EVM that selects either equalizer or cable driver operation. If this jumper is in down position - pin 3 shorted to pin 5 - this selects equalizer mode. If this jumper is between pins 1 &3 up position - this enables cable driver mode. Please refer to LMH1297 data sheet or LMH1297EVM user guide for further details.
