I want to understand how to configure “DESCRAM_TIMEOUT_DIS” bit field in 100CR (0x0043) register.

What is difference between “1 = Disable packet..” and “0=Stops packet..”?

Could you please explain more detail of difference of meaning of “Disable” and “Stop”?

Hi Oba,

Kindly explain the application which requires you to modify these fields. Typically customer don't need to update default settings.

Hi Geet,

The reason I asked is that I just wonder this configuration could affect something to jumbo frame.

I read the below post though it is not DP83867, and “descrambler timeout” looks to be one of a keyword.

Then I asked this question.

Hi Oba,

Jumbo frame is supported by default on DP83867. Refer to below post.

Hi Satoshi-san,

DP83867 supports jumbo frame is characterised in default conditions and no configuration change is needed.
