DS15BR401: as a 150MHz LVDS buffer

Hi,

I found, as a 150MHz LVDS buffer for video interface, DS15BR401 may be over design. Could you pls recommond other solution? 4 channel is good.

Another question is, as a video interface, I found the power consumption of DS15BR401 is much larger than SN65DP141. Could you tell me the reason? Does its internal PLL consume more power than DP141?

Hi,

the DS15BR401 is an older part and design so the power is larger. I would not use the SN65DP141 for such a low frequency application, it is optimized for much higher speed signals so the internal equalization will not provide much benefit at 150 MHz.

Hi,

For a 4 channel LVDS input to LVDS output, the DS15BR401 or DS90LV804 seem to be the best solution.

It seems the power consumption of DS90LV804 is much lower than DS15BR401.
