DS92LV2411: LVDS SERDES recommendation

Team,

For 24-bit TFT LCD Display that uses the TI DS92LV2411 and DS92LV2411 serializer/deserializer combo for transmitting display signals via LVDS.  Are these ICs still the way to go for new designs? Is there anything better to use for a new design?  It needs to be LVDS.
