Hi,

I plan to use TPS65987D and TUSB8044.

I have 3 questions.

1. I want to implement the 4 downstream connectors.

Is it possible that TUSB8044 have 1 upstream and 5 downstream(including Billboad device)

2. Would you tell me how to write software to TUSB8044?

3. Would you tell me your recommend connection between TPS65987D and TUSB8044.

In order:
1. You can use 4 downstream connectors in addition to the billboard.

2. For this question, if you are using I2C/External EEPROM, see section 8.3.3 in the datasheet. If you are using SMBUS host, see section 8.4.4

3. See section 9.2.1.2.6 for the recommended connection to a power switch. The main points are that the TUSB8044 overcurrent pins should be
connected to a GPIO pin configured to function in an equivalent way to a fault pin. The battery enable pins should be connected to GPIO pins configured to function as an enable pin.
