Hello,

Our customer use the DP83867IR.

The customer evaluated the EMI noise of the system include the DP83867.

As a result, there is a peak at 750MHz.

Is it due to the reference clock as 25MHz?

Hello Naoki-san,

Is it done on customer board or DP83867 EVM ? As you know these measurements are very sensitive and we have look at circuit, layout to comment on the reason for peak at 750 Mhz.

Sorry, I didn't check situation of the customer detail.
I will ask the customer to give us more information.

By the way, does the DP83867 operate with internal frequency as 25MHz?

Hello Geet-san,

I checked the situation of the customer.
They use the original board, Gigabit operation.

The customer have a question.
How much the max and main frequency of the DP83867 operating?
They have not been able to identify the parts that cause noise on the board.
They are confirming the factors one by one, now.
So, they want to know the answer of the question.

Hello,

Minimal frequency is 25 MHz and max of 125 MHz on MDI output.
