TPS2546: USB2.0 PCB trace length limitation

Hi expert,

My customer wants to know the trace length limitation in TPS2546 for USB2.0 signal. They saw a limitation on Intel Coffee lake platform PDG shown below. Total Motherboard Trace Length maximum is 6000mils. Do we have limitation on trace length for TPS2546? Thanks!

    Hello Ann,

    I do not know of any trace limitations for the TPS2546, but keeping the D+/D- lines as short as possible is a  good practice. Having it be below 6000 mils is a good number to aim for. The only layout guidelines that are mentioned in the TPS2546 datasheet is shown below.
