Hi all,

Could you teach the technical reason why THVD1500's Icc(=some hundreds [uA]) and SN75176B's Icc(=some tens [mA]) differ substantially?

    SN75176B was designed in 1980's on a bipolar process. The way the circuit works is quite different from newer CMOS based technology. Therefore we usually promote the latest devices to our customers. Please let me know if you have more questions.
