Hi,

I am using the DS90UB953-Q1EVM and DS90UB954-Q1EVM . And i run the P954_A0_RX0_CSI_Enable.py script and the ovt_1920_1080_REMOTE.py script to initialize

eht EVMs and camera.but i failed. i found slave/camera ID and alias ID are unable to write . Can you help me ?

Hi,

Please set up Port 0 by writing 0x01 to Register 0x4C, and set the back channel configuration to 50 Mbps by writing to Register 0x58 after declaring the device IDs/addresses.

You should also double check the address for the 954, sometimes it can show up as 0x60 or 0x7A.

Hi,

You should set up Port 0 and the back channel frequency first. Try moving those two lines of code that you added (Register 0x4C and 0x58) to your first two lines after declaring device IDs and then check to see if you can write to the OVT registers.

I didn't notice the order before. The OVT register can't be write when I've corrected it.

Hi,

You set up your serializer alias ID but did not set up the serializer ID. Before you write to the Register 0x5C, you should write to 0x5B and fill the value in with the UB953ID:

board.WriteI2C(UB954, 0x5B, UB953ID)
