Hi team,
Could you give me advise on following customer issue?
The customer is facing issue to test 1000Base-T compliance test with 867E. They referred the application note as http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla239a/snla239a.pdf.
They access and write following registers, but it looks writing (5) and (6) register are fail since reading register value shows 0x0000 after writing register.
They just see the test waveform from channel A, but didn't see other waveform from channel B, C, and D.
＜1000 Base Test Mode 1＞
(1)Reg 0x001F = 0x8000 //reset PHY
(2)Reg 0x0000 = 0x0140 //1000 Base-T Mode
(3)Reg 0x0010 = 0x5008 //forced MDI Mode
(4)Reg 0x0009 = 0x3B00 //Test Mode 1
(5)Reg 0x0025 = 0x0480 //output test mode to all channels
(6)Reg 0x01D5 = 0xF508
Also, what is the function of Reg 0x01D5? I didn't see the description at the datasheet.
