Hi,

What should be the EEPROM content to be programmed into the EEPROM interfaced to tsb43ab21a integrated 1394a-2000 OHCI PHY/Link-Layer Controller i.e firewire chip. We  have interfaced this firewire chip on to the PCI bus of DM6467. For some reason we are not able to communicate with this device.

    Hi,

    Can someone from TI comment on this? We have verified the chip connections on the board and the chip register settings through the software.They look fine. Even though the tsb43ab21's register says that an interrupt is generated we could not find the interrupt when the pin was probed.The only progress we could make with this interface is that the PCI finds this device in lspci no further communication happens.

    Attached is an example of the EEPROM content for the TSB43AB21.  We also have a utility which will program the EEPROM for the device, please let me know if you would like this as well.
