SN65HVD1471: Can the SN65HVD1471 device be used for RS-422 interface?

Hi,all

     The SN65HVD1471 device can be used for RS-422 interface? I cann't find the datasheet said it can support RS-422 interface.

     Is there any reference design for RS-422?

    Went,
    SN65HVD1471 can be used for RS-422. Most of TI RS-485 transceivers are compatible with RS-422. You can find the comparison between RS-422 and RS-485 in this app note www.ti.com/.../slla070d.pdf
    The major difference is the Vod requirement (1.5V over 54Ohm in RS-485 and 2V over 100Ohm in RS-422). SN65HVD1471 might be a little short on this in some corner case (Tj<0C or Vcc<3.2V).
