DS90UB914A-Q1: DS90ub914A mux input

Part Number: DS90UB914A-Q1

ds90ub914A connect two poc camera, SEL=L, use RIN0 camera, then Sel=H, switch to RIN1. in order to fast have video, poc keep one minute. if  switch to RIN1, after one minute, then turn off RIN0 camera power, 914A lock pin will turn low for short time.

Two camera are AC couple, why turn off RIN0 power will affect RIN1?  Any suggestion to avoid?

  • Jeff,

when one channel PoC is closed, the high speed channel will sense one transient signal with high swing (PoC voltage is ~9V), which could impact the nearby available input high speed signal and result in bit error and unlock issue.

please try to slow down the PoC voltage slew rate to reduce this impact, also please check the two channels cross-talk design issue in the layout, you should have enough distance between two high speed input channels.

    best regards,

    Steven
