knowing that ISO1540 for IIC isolator with bidirectional, but only 2.5KVrms.

Do you have solution that can support 5KVrms solution? Thanks.

Thanks for asking this on E2E. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a solution for 5kVrms isolated bidirectional I2C at this point.

Hi Molly,

My apologies - it looks like I spoke too soon. There is actually a solution we can offer.

I2C can be implemented on unidirectional digital channels using a few external components. Please see the Analog Design Journal Article Linked here.

This could be accomplished through either ISO7731 as shown in the document plus an isolated power supply (such as SN6505) or ISOW7841 can be used to combine digital isolation and an isolated power supply in one small form factor.
